Who’s Not a Candidate?

Are You a Candidate for paramedical tattoo treatments?

For safety and optimal results, paramedical tattoo and serum-based treatments cannot be performed if any of the following apply:

  • You are pregnant or nursing

  • You have active skin cancer in the treatment area

  • You are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy

  • You have an active infection of any kind (viral, bacterial, or fungal)

  • You have HIV, Hepatitis, or other transmissible blood conditions

  • You are currently taking Accutane or have taken it within the last 6 months

  • You are taking blood-thinning medications or supplements

  • You have active herpes, hives, or skin outbreaks in the treatment area

  • You have scleroderma or are prone to keloid scarring

  • You have had Botox, dermal fillers, or used retinoids/retinol in the treatment area within the last 4 weeks

  • You are currently ill or feeling unwell

  • You have immune disorders that may impair healing

Diabetes Type I or II is not an automatic contraindication; however, healing may be compromised, infection risk may be higher, pigment retention may be reduced, and brown pigments may heal with a greyish tone.

A consultation is required to evaluate eligibility and ensure your safety and treatment success.
